Maybe cause it's Journalism, having the interest plays a part.
not forgetting our cute lecturer who never fails to speak what's on her mind. especially her analogy of 'going straight to the point' she made on the very first day of her lesson. guess what, DIGGING YOUR NOSE. i was stunned.
she goes like,
you dig your nose directly, put your finger in and dig the shit out. no one will *uses her right hand, goes behind her neck and dig from the left side of her face* do it like this right!!
i'm enjoying journalism now, PR is fine too. i tell you, Angie Tu our PR lecturer, is one fierce speaker. she's nice she's funny she's open-minded, but i bet if you ever try anything funny against her, she'll bite you in your face. she can outspeak anyone, anytime. but afternoon classes as compared now, are kinda alrightttttttttt, maybe cause its in the noon, i wanna take my noon nap. morning feels fresher lah!
work is definitely coming, slowly but surely.
Journalism assignment given, it is to come out with a tabloid consisting of minimum 10pgs. totally different from all other modules cause this one is just purely ONE group assignment, that's it. there isn't an indiv assignment at all. so it means that, WE GOTTA DO OUR BEST!!! and scoring 0.5/4 points(with tony and abra) for a 'headline' exercise we did in class today isn't helping me boost spirit. but well, we were being creative WHAT.
i see my schedule for next week from tmrw onwards, its all lined up! plus i have wkend lesson for the next 3 wks, its no goooooddddd.
tmrw night - irene's sch(SIM) bash party.
sat&sun - media creation module at SMA riverside point.
mon&tues - gotta come up with some articles for our proj.
wed - BTT and dateline for us to summit articles to each other to vet for proj + chinese web radio class.
i needa train my brain to start getting into the active and learning mood, which means it'll start requiring lesser amount of time on sleeping and more time thinking and learning. i needa buck up, really.
these 2 modules i'm currently doing, demands sufficient general knowledge and current affairs
how am i suppose to feel in class when she assumes everyone knows the name of the french and russian president!! i'm like totally clueless. i feel so stupid but i don't dare to raise my hands in class. just yesterday, my lecturer was so excited when she learnt that one of my South African classmate had met Nelson Mandela. in my head, i was thinking, "hmmmmm this guy's name sounds familar, very familar, but i don't know who's he. yea i think he must have done alot of great things.. hmmmm.." see, that's how stupid i'm suppose to feel. i got back home at night and immediately googled him out and read.
i'm happy i've got twitter, it's the least i have when i don't read the papers. info is dished to me, since i'm so lazy to go get it. but for the sake of my grades and not to feel so stupid in class anymore, i'm gonna force myself to read the papers EVERYDAY. cheapskate abit, take Today from the aunties at MRT stations.
